I'm having problems finding software for the card catalogue system. This is a seperate issue.
But at the moment, I'm putting the current catalogue into a database so it's easy to convert when I DO get the software. I remember this much from classes, anyhow. Let's see what fun discrepencies I can discover. I'm starting with the dusty ones, so anybody with dust allergies, beware when entering the library.

May. 14th, 2007 05:03 am There's a very statuesque, and I don't mean height here, Monet in the kitchen. It looks like someone flash froze her in the process of pouring a box of Lucky Charms down her throat. And I don't think she'd be amused by the propeller hat and fake eyelashes. We won't mention the fact that it took me ten minutes to stop giggling. I cleaned up the cereal.

Yes, it's still at it. Today it reorganized the card catalogue after I knocked it over when it scared me first thing this morning.
Really need to consider putting the card catalogue into the computer. Does anybody else think this is a good idea? Who would I ask to do it?

There, there was a new helper in the library today, while I was shelving books. It just trotted right past with a rather old copy of Les Miserables an put it on the shelf. In the right place even.
